Reports on Pinterest point to a trend towards "nostalgic decor", which users are increasingly requesting.

The Yat Room of the Trend Rooms 2025 project was dedicated to this trend. Let's look at it in detail in a series of posts.

Let's talk about how this trend was implemented by the authors of the room, designers Yulia Denskevich and Yulia Ermakova, as well as the authors of textile design, Yulia Maid and Ekaterina Egorova, in textiles.

Firstly, powdery, nude shades of fabrics from Daylight and Galleria Arben companies of various textures: from weightless and transparent on shutters to dense textures used to create the upholstery of the facades of dressers worked in contrast with the bright color accents of individual details and interior items, becoming a source of dopamine and a reference to a warm, carefree day in the countryside the terrace.

Architectural details embroidered on the multilayer shutters covering the walls of the room deserve special attention: arches, balusters, window openings created using hand embroidery techniques by Promodi and Studio Wing. The reception allowed creating a feeling of airy, melting in a haze of memories of the interior of an ancient Russian manor.

The nostalgic touch is supported by decorative elements created from lace and braid from Svetlana Moscow

In general, handmade interior objects have become the leitmotif of textile decoration: a handmade carpet from the company Kover.ru He perfectly complemented the interior, recalling the resurgent tradition of hand-made carpet weaving.

The cozy accent of the stand was a handmade textile lampshade from the Moon Room lighting workshop, made in a single copy specifically for the project.
